Ehsaas Kafalat Program Eligibility Criteria

The following Criteria are required in order to be eligible for Ehsaas Kafalat Program.

1. Family Income: Kafalat program targets poor people in Pakistan with trembling household income. To be eligible for this scheme, the family income of a household should be below the poverty threshold level on the poverty scorecard which ranges from (0-40). 
2. Single Woman-Headed Family: This program is designed for women who’re divorced, widowed, and single bread earners of the entire household without a male head. A family’s woman head is eligible for getting PKR 12,000 Ehsaas Kafalat amount. 
3. Disabled People: People with any kind of physical or mental disability who can’t earn a living are eligible for this program.

10. No Assets Owned: An applicant woman should not be having any assets like land, vehicle, and house registered in her name. 
11. Nationality: The applicant and her family should be permanent residents of Pakistan. 

Ehsaas Cash Withdrawal from the Banks

Various banks in Pakistan are registered with Ehsaas Program and are fulfilling the duties of distributing financial aid to needy people. Both male and female students of class Nursery to Higher Secondary level get benefitted from this opportunity. The students aged between 4 years to 22 years, belonging to any district of Pakistan, are eligible for this Ehsaas Kafalt Scholarship. To maintain the transparency of the program, the entire process gets digitized by the Government. According to the sources, the scholarship amount has increased recently.

To receive the scholarship amount, having an ATM card and Bank account is not necessary. Ehsaas Kafalat Scholarship Registration 2022-2023

Under 18 years old eligible students should visit the nearby Ehsaas Waseela Taleem Centers with their B-Forms and Above 18 years of age with their CNIC along with all educational certificates. Need for Ehsaas Kafalat Program in relation to BISP

In July 2008, Benazir Income Support Program was initiated to provide financial assistance to needy households. After every three months, a cash amount of PKR 4,834 was given to each needy family around the state. In current days, PKR 1,500 per month or PKR 3,000 per month cash amounts are distributed among needy families under the umbrella of BISP.
